Leaf assists Beaumanoir Group through a partnership with Zhongke company.

Consolidate and ensure a sustainable growth

Leaf has advised the Beaumanoir Group, a major and key player in fashion in France. To consolidate its presence on the Chinese market with already more than 550 stores in China, a strategic partnership was signed for their Cache-Cache fashion brand with Zhongke, a Chinese company that has already purchased C&A.
The Beaumanoir Group has decided to partner with a strong and agile local player to consolidate its strengths and ensure a sustainable growth in a complex market. Sharing a common ambition and vision based on the creation of a shared services platform for the development of several brands, the Beaumanoir Group has decided to sell the majority of its Chinese activity to Zhongke. Jean-Philippe Engel and Peggy Wu led the Leaf Transaction Team.

“This transaction led us to provide our clients who cannot travel to China with innovative solutions during the pandemic. One of the key aspects for our M&A transactions was our capacity to strengthen our negotiation capacity in financial aspects and for company valuation thanks to the support of our Corporate Finance team.”

Bruno Grangier, Founding Partner of Leaf.
