Non-Solicitation

A non-solicitation agreement restricts an individual (usually a former employee) to solicit a company’s clients, customers or employees for his/her own benefit or for the benefit of a competitor, after leaving the company.  Usually, a non-solicitation agreement is part of a larger document such as an employment contract, a non-compete agreement but it doesn’t have to be. It may be presented to the individual at any stage of the employment/ business relationship with the company.
