Leaf assists KaiOS Technologies on its Series B funding with Cathay Innovation

LEAF has assisted KaiOS Technologies, maker of the leading mobile operating system for smart feature phones KaiOS, on its 45 million EUR Series B funding with Cathay Innovation. KaiOS will use the funds to fulfill its mission to open up new possibilities for individuals, organizations, and society by bringing mobile connectivity to the billions of people without internet in emerging markets, as well as providing those in established markets with an alternative to smartphones. The cross-border Leaf team advising on this landmark technology project was comprised of Gregory Louvel as lead partner, Jean-Philippe Engel , partner, with support from Chloe Voratanouvong and Charlotte Mantoux. US law aspects were covered by Buhler Duggal & Henry LLP.
