SNB Law and Leaf have entered into a strategic cooperation to create one of the strongest Sino-European legal teams in China.
Leaf, a French law firm with offices in Shanghai, Beijing and Paris will mainly contribute their multi-awarded expertise on cross-border M&A transactions, corporate finance and funding operations. Leaf has also a significant cybersecurity and data protection law practice that is accompanied by a team of technical experts.
SNB Law, based in Hamburg, with its long track record and experience in China as the first German law firm in Shanghai, and with a strong industrial focus, will set the tone on IP matters, construction and real estate as well as food and health law. SNB Law is also active in the Vietnam market with an office in Ho Chi Minh City.
Both firms aim to offer their mutual services to French, German and other European clients, thereby enhancing their coverage and reach. Moreover, a joint M&A team will be established, consisting of experienced professionals from France, Germany, Austria, China and Vietnam.
Coordinators for all aspects of the cooperation will be Bruno Grangier, founding partner of Leaf, and Jörg-Michael Scheil, SNB Managing Partner Asia.
